This isn’t to say that America doesn’t have it’s own problems, but Americans are so blessed they will never even know. So much is given to them that they will never understand true sacrifice. Never know what it truly means to live in poverty. Even the people in American poverty have much better lives than so much of the rest of the world. So to all the people who hate America and oppose the government to the point where they protest our soldiers and bitch about how bad they have it. FEEL FREE TO FUCKING LEAVE. I’m sure the man in this picture would cut his own leg off to bring his family to America just to live in the projects of our country. I am privileged. I have had so much given to me. But I don’t take it for granted. I am thankful that everything I grew up with, everything my family and country has given to me are not forgotten by me. I know damn well how good I have it and if anyone in this country doesn’t realize that, then go somewhere else to experience REAL poverty.
